Remembering Jessica Hills

On 12 December, Jessica Hills died peacefully in her sleep. Jessica was involved in Sense from its beginnings and, as a young teacher of deaf children, she volunteered time to act as secretary to the ‘Rubella Group’ - preparing Newsletters and organising meetings. She had a continuous involvement, serving as a Trustee for 38 years and as Chairman of Council for over 20 years. She retired from that post in 2001, but continued as a Trustee of Sense International.

Her influence on Sense was immense and we will miss her terribly.

A memorial service, open to all, will be held on Thursday 8 May 2008 at Birmingham Cathedral from 1pm – 3.30pm. For further information, please contact Lisa Nagle by email: lisa.nagle@sense.org.uk or on tel: 01778 382256 .
